Marija Risteska
Marija Risteska is the founder and executive director of the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM), a Western Balkan regional think and do tank. She holds PhD in political science and has led multicountry teams in complex projects introducing ex-post evaluation of policies, gender responsive budgeting, diversification and social contracting of care services and setting up community referral mechanisms for prevention from violence. Dr. Risteska’s textbooks include Public Policy, Policy Making and Public Value (2017), Gender Responsive Budgeting (2013), and Gender Responsive Budgeting in a Southern European Context (Springer Nature, 2026).
