Reason Magazine reported on Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei’s renewed call for government intervention in the AI industry, quoting ITIF President Rob Atkinson’s disagreement. Atkinson noted that even if half of all entry-level white-collar jobs were eliminated over five years, the “supposed AI job apocalypse” would amount to only about six weeks of normal labor-market churn.
