The U.S. dollar has reached near-record highs, including against the Korean won which is down 16 percent over the last 20 months. As Rob Atkinson writes in The Korea Times, his makes U.S. imports to Korea more expensive and Korean exports to the U.S. less expensive. Great for American consumers but bad for American workers. And vice versa for Korea.
