Comments to the NTIA on the Benefits, Challenges, and Potential Roles for the Government in Fostering Advancement of the Internet of Things

ITIF’s Center for Data Innovation filed comments with the National Telecommunication and Information Administration (NTIA) describing the Internet of Things’ substantial social and economic benefits, identifying barriers to the growth of the technology, and suggesting a number of actions the government should take to maximize the benefits the Internet of Things can offer the public and private sectors.
