Syabil Syahmi was a Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) fellow with ITIF. Syahmi's research focused on how policy decisions shape competitiveness, entrepreneurship, and real-world adoption of emerging technologies. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universiti Brunei Darussalam and a Higher National Diploma in entrepreneurship and business studies from Politeknik Brunei.
