As Cybersecurity Policy Lead at Facebook, Saleela analyzes security threats and develops and implements policies, products, and practices, including around manipulated media, to keep Facebook’s billions of users across the world safe. In addition, she responds to legislative and regulatory developments in cybersecurity and influence operations around the world. Saleela was previously an attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice. She also served as Counsel to the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, where she worked on national security and cybersecurity legislation and regulatory developments impacting the technology sector. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Yale Law School.
