Mina Kim, Ph.D., is a nonresident senior fellow at ITIF. As an international economist with expertise in global markets, supply chain resilience, and economic security, she currently supports the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), providing economic insights on emerging technologies. Previously, she has held roles at the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Department of State. Dr. Kim’s public sector experience is complemented by teaching roles at several institutions, most recently American University. Kim holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor's in economics and public policy from Swarthmore College.
