Leonard Waverman
Dr. Leonard Waverman is a member of the board of ITIF's Centre for Canadian Innovation and Competitiveness.
Dr. Waverman is the former Dean of the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, and a former member of the C.D. Howe Institute’s Board of Directors. He continues as a professor of finance and business economics and as the Acting Director of the newly formed Foresight Lab, both at McMaster.
He specializes in microeconomics and industrial organization, economics of telecommunications, energy and resource economics, international trade, public utility and public enterprise economics. His research continues to focus on the impact that developments in the telecommunication industry have on growth and productivity.
