Larisa Cioaca

Larisa Cioaca is a Ph.D. candidate in Strategy at Duke University. She holds an MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park and a bachelor’s degree in International Transactions from West University of Timisoara, Romania. Before starting the Ph.D. program, Cioaca spent four years teaching business management, leadership, entrepreneurship, and communication courses at the Institute of Applied Agriculture, an academic unit of University of Maryland, College Park. Earlier in her career, Cioaca spent nine years working in corporate communications for Lockheed Martin, the AES Corporation, W. R. Grace & Co., and Hilton International.
