David Ray is COO & General Counsel of Rank One Computing Corporation, a world leading facial recognition technology company based in Denver, Colorado. Prior to Rank One, David co-founded Bold Legal LLC, a boutique corporate, commercial and IP transactions law firm, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, company formations and venture capital investments. David began his legal career at Simpson, Thacher and Bartlett LLP, working on private equity mergers and acquisitions including the $24.9 billion leveraged buyout of Dell Inc. and the $2.35 billion purchase of Sheridan Healthcare by AmSurg Corp. and on public debt offerings totaling $3.5 billion for Tesla Motors, Cadence Designs, WhiteWave Foods, Hub International and Intrepid Aviation. Prior to law school, David worked in finance at Lehman Brothers and in management consulting at Axia, Ltd. (now part of Accenture).
