Collin Sebastian

Collin Sebastian is Head of Software Products and Engineering at SoftBank Robotics America (SBRA). He joined SBRA in 2018, bringing 15 years of experience developing advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence platforms, as well as a decade of experience as a senior executive leading four different startups to profitable exits. At SBRA, Collin oversees technology strategy and execution of the company’s IoT, machine learning, education software and humanoid robotics initiatives. He has previously served on the leadership teams of Ubiquiti Networks (NASDAQ: UBNT) and VTC. Additionally, Sebastian is an active venture capitalist, angel investor, and non-profit board member. He was an extremely early adopter of Apache graduates Spark and Cassandra and now spends his free time exploring incubating projects SINGA and Marvin-AI.
