Austin Slater

Austin Slater is a communications manager at ITIF. Previously, he was a press officer at the German Marshall Fund of the United States where he raised awareness of authoritarian threats to democracies, as assistant director of media and communications at the Atlantic Council's N7 Initiative working to strengthen Arab-Israeli cooperation, and as communications manager for Be Pro Be Proud and the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce facilitating workforce development through AR/VR systems targeting high school students. Austin holds a BA in strategic communications and political science from Arkansas State University, and a master’s degree in public service from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
