Andrew Tony Camilleri
Andrew Tony Camilleri is the Telecoms and Digital Affairs Attache’ within the Permanent Representation of Malta in the EU. During the Maltese Presidency he chaired the Telecommunications and Information Society Working Party which dealt with dossiers such as the Wholesale Roaming Review and the European Electronics Communication Code. Currently, he is coordinating Malta’s European response on digital affairs, particularly on issues such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. Andrew previously worked as a Parliamentary Assistant and Political Advisor within the European Parliament. He graduated with a Bachelor and Masters degree in European Studies from the University of Malta and Sussex University respectively.
