Alejandro Cacace
Alejandro Cacace is a lawyer and public policy specialist serving as Argentina’s Secretary of Deregulation. He holds an MPA from Harvard University and a European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) from the Universities of Bologna, Hamburg, and Erasmus Rotterdam, and earned his law degree from UNC. He was a National Deputy for San Luis (2019–2023), Parliamentary Secretary (2023–2024), and Provincial Deputy (2013–2019). He is also Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the National University of San Luis.

This forum shall explore how Argentina might accelerate growth in its life sciences sector while improving patient access to innovative medicines. It will examine the critical role of strong intellectual property frameworks and efficient regulatory systems in fostering local innovation and promoting local biomanufacturing. We will also explore how university technology transfer can leverage Argentina's established biotechnology expertise to drive sector development and economic growth.
