Industrial Policy Is Back: What Does It Mean for the U.S. and World Economy?

ITIF President Robert D. Atkinson delivered the opening keynote address at the WACA 2021 National Conference, which marked the 35th anniversary of the World Affairs Councils of America.

The conference theme was “Bridging Divides at Home and Abroad,” and the hosts asked Dr. Atkinson to address the topic of industrial policy’s “comeback” and what it means for the United States and the world.
