Congress should pass a federal version of California’s Coogan Act.
Details
Congress should pass federal legislation similar to California’s Coogan Act and Illinois’ child influencer legislation that protects child performers in traditional and digital media by requiring parents to set aside a portion of a child’s earnings in a trust that the child can access upon reaching adulthood.
