Response to the UK Government’s Open Call for Evidence on its National Data Strategy

ITIF’s Center for Data Innovation submitted a response to the UK government’s open call for evidence on its National Data Strategy, which aims to foster the use and power of data across government and the wider economy, and to develop a trusted data ecosystem. The Center’s response describes how the government can promote data-driven innovations for all, develop the types of skills required for the digital economy, support the private sector’s use of data to increase productivity, and improve public services through appropriate sharing and use of data within government, as well as between government and the private sector.
