There continues to be a yawning gap in America's technology labor market, where 545,000 jobs remain unfilled because we have a shortage of workers qualified for high-skilled positions in STEM fields. This stymies growth in advanced industries, hurts U.S. competitiveness, and, as Rob Atkinson notes in the Courier-Post, is clear evidence we should raise the cap on H-1B visas and broaden overall high-skill innovation.
