Stacie Gregory

Dr. Gregory is a Research Fellow at the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Prior to joining AAUW, Stacie was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) where she led the development and facilitation of the 2015 NSF Maker Summit.
Dr. Gregory's doctoral research applied Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality frameworks to critically examine effective intervention strategies to reduce the negative consequences of Stereotype Threat (STT). STT is a social phenomenon that may contribute to the lack of persistence of female and under-represented minority students in engineering. She is also interested in inclusive pedagogical practices, as well as, the integration of Human-Centered Design and Service Learning opportunities to recruit and retain students in engineering degree programs.
At AAUW, Stacie conducts research and provides analysis on topics related to gender equity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Dr. Gregory earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Education at Utah State University. She also has BS in Physics from Spelman College and a MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
