Rolf Höijer, PhD

Dr. Hoijer serves as the head of the Office of Growth Policy Analysis, Science and Innovation at the Swedish Embassy in Washington DC. He earned his Ph.D. in political science from the University of Oxford in 2002, and subsequently worked as an academic at the London School of Economics, teaching and conducting research in international political economy. Prior to taking up his current position he has also worked as Head of Division at the Swedish Research Council, Senior Advisor (re. research- and innovation policy) to the Swedish Government, and also as Research Director for the Ratio Institute (an independent Swedish research foundation conducting research in the area of conditions for economic growth and entrepreneurship).
