Monica Lupi
Monica Lupi is the Legal & Intellectual Property Director at CAEMe, the federation representing Argentina’s innovative pharmaceutical industry. She works on high-impact initiatives with WHO, WTO, WIPO, national agencies (INPI, ANMAT), NGOs, patient groups, and academia. Previously, she was Legal Head, South Cluster at Novartis and Region South Legal Head at AbbVie, where she led CAEMe’s Legal and IP Commissions and developed legal education programs with AMCHAM, CAEMe, AIEJ, and leading universities. Earlier, she practiced in Buenos Aires and California, managing anti-piracy efforts for the Business Software Alliance. Admitted in California (U.S.) and Argentina, she holds an LL.M. from Northwestern University and is a Law Professor at Universidad de San Andrés.
