Michael Zweiback

Michael Zweiback is a partner in Arent Fox LLP’s Complex Litigation, White Collar & Investigations groups and co-practice group leader of the Cybersecurity and Data Protection group. His broad range of experience includes defense (across California and federal courts throughout the United States including the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of Columbia and the District of Massachusetts) of government investigations on behalf of individuals and corporations in areas which include but are not limited to: Health care – providers and hospitals – financial services; antitrust; environmental; anti-corruption, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; and defense of enforcement actions brought by governmental agencies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, Health and Human Services, Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Communications Commission, States Attorney’s General for violations of various provisions of federal and state data security laws. Michael’s experience includes civil litigation and international proceedings in which data security issues are prominent in the litigation.

Michael also has significant experience in matters involving the theft of trade secrets, intellectual property disputes, national security, technology, privacy/data security, and complex commercial litigation. Michael has more than twenty years of trial experience as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and civil trial counsel.
