Mary-Clare Bietila

Mary-Clare Bietila is a Program Manager with The Public Library Association, responsible for grants and special initiatives that work to eliminate the digital divide. Mary Clare is a patient advocate, a Girl Scout leader, and a roller derby mom (Go Riots!). She enjoys cooking, musicals, and writing creative nonfiction. She lives in Chicago's Hyde Park with her family, dog Ben and two cats: Pizza and Raisin.
