Maika Fohrenbach

Maika joined AmCham EU in October 2016, and is a Senior Policy Adviser for the Digital Economy and Intellectual Property committees.

Prior to this, she worked for the Brussels-based trade association CEEP (European Center for Employers and Enterprises Providing Public Services) on internal market policy. She also gained experience at the European Commission Directorate-General for Energy and the European Affairs office of General Electric.

Maika holds a BA and a MA in European affairs from the Institute for Political Studies of Lille (Sciences Po Lille) and a MA in European Administrative and Political Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.

Maika is a French and German national, and speaks fluent English and Italian.
