Madeline Yozwiak is an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and doctoral student in public affairs at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. Her research focuses on renewable energy and electricity regulation. Prior to O’Neill, she worked at Vote Solar, Sunrun and Bloomberg New Energy Finance.

Rapid adoption of electric vehicles by low-income and disadvantaged populations is necessary for decarbonization. Innovative products and business models are emerging that accelerate such adoption. Supportive policies should extend these innovations and amplify their benefits.
