Liza Getsinger
Liza Getsinger is a public policy expert with a career spanning research, advocacy, and the technology sector, and a member of ITIF's board. She currently leads Google’s engagement with many think tanks and advocacy groups on public policies that will shape the future of technology. She also serves on the Center for Democracy & Technology Advisory Council.
Prior to joining Google, Liza spent nearly a decade at the Urban Institute. There, she held significant leadership roles, including Chief of Staff and Director of Program Planning. Her responsibilities included guiding institutional strategy, managing the board of trustees, and overseeing the office of the president. Previously, she held policy and advocacy roles at the National Housing Conference, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and on US presidential campaigns. Liza has also written extensively on economic policy issues, housing affordability, and community development.
