Ioana Tanase
Ioana was 32 when she found out she was dyslexic. Suddenly a lot of things were suddenly making sense – why her typos are a bit of Schrodinger’s cat (why she can’t spot them for life of her, but everyone else can), why she has struggled with the alphabet for most of her life, or her my brain hates definitions and can’t memorize them. In discovering more about herself, she developed a passion for disability and accessibility and decided to transitioned from recruitment, where she spent 11 years with expertise spanning across multiple continents and various roles. She is now part of a brilliant team working on advancing tech innovation in accessibility as a Accessibility Program Manager at Microsoft. Ioana is also a shoemaker and career switching consultant helping senior tech professionals. You can find her on ioanatanase.com
