Eric Breckenfeld
Eric Breckenfeld serves on NVIDIA’s government affairs team as Director of Technology Policy, where he leads on policy related to semiconductor supply chains and artificial intelligence. Prior to this, Eric held a role at the Semiconductor Industry Association, where he assisted with the passage and early implementation of the 2022 CHIPS and Science Act. Previously, Eric served as a subject matter expert at DARPA, was an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow for the White House’s National Nanotechnology Initiative, and was a National Research Council Fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory. He received his B.S. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
