Emily Tavenner
Emily Tavenner was a senior communications manager at ITIF. Previously, she was the digital content manager for American University’s School of International Service (SIS), where she served as the lead editor and content strategist, conceiving and producing web stories, videos, and podcast episodes that showcased the expertise of SIS faculty.
Prior to SIS, Emily worked as a marketing communications specialist at the edtech company LearnZillion, was on the external affairs team at World Wildlife Fund, and analyzed political advertising at Kantar Media’s Campaign Media Analysis Group (CMAG).
Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from The George Washington University and a master’s in intercultural and international communication from American University’s School of International Service.
