Digby Jones

Digby Jones

Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham, served as Minister for Trade and Investment for the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (BERR) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2007 – 2009. Lord Jones served as Director-General of the Confederation of British Industries (CBI), the UK’s 'Voice of Business', from 2000 to 2006. He was a private adviser to HRH the Duke of York and was the UK Government's Skills Envoy. In 1998 Digby joined KPMG as vice chairman of Corporate Finance, acting as close adviser to many public companies across the United Kingdom and in KPMG’s global markets.
