Damaso Pardo
Dámaso Pardo is a partner at Bruchou & Funes de Rioja. He previously served as President of Argentina’s National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), during which time he represented Argentina in the Mercosur free-trade negotiations with the European Union, Canada, and EFTA.
He holds a Law degree (UCA, 1985) and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law (1990). Early in his career, he was a consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva for a Mercosur project (1993–1994).

Life Sciences Innovation Forum
This forum shall explore how Argentina might accelerate growth in its life sciences sector while improving patient access to innovative medicines. It will examine the critical role of strong intellectual property frameworks and efficient regulatory systems in fostering local innovation and promoting local biomanufacturing. We will also explore how university technology transfer can leverage Argentina's established biotechnology expertise to drive sector development and economic growth.
