Christopher D. Hess

Christopher D. Hess is vice president of Global Public Affairs for Eaton, a global intelligent power management company. Chris works cross-functionally with Eaton businesses to develop the company’s
strategic position on global regulatory, legislative and government issues. He has held his current position since 2019.
In addition, Chris advises Eaton stakeholders on complex global policy issues including but not limited to aerospace, defense, energy transition, trade, taxation, and government programs and procurement. Chris also works with Eaton technology teams to obtain millions in research and development funding from government programs in the US and Europe. He leads Eaton’s initiatives to promote policies that will enable digital transformation and energy transition and serves on the company’s Stimulus, Operations and Development Sustainability and Al Steering Committees.
