Beth Ann Felder is a Director of Federal Affairs. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins in August 2004, Beth spent 12 years in the U.S. Senate; eight as Republican Chief Counsel to the Committee on the Budget (serving Chairman Pete Domenici and Chairman Don Nickles), and four in the Office of the Senate Parliamentarian. Before working on the Hill, Beth served as a judicial law clerk in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Maryland, in the Office of the Attorney General of Maryland and for the Department of Legislative Reference. Beth graduated from the Villanova University School of Law with a J.D. and earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University. Beth is a member of the bar (inactive) of Maryland and New York. Beth leads the team and is responsible for research-related issues and health care.
