Barbara Rohde
Barbara Rohde is the Executive Director of The MBUF Alliance that was created as an educational organization to further information on mileage-based user fee projects in the United States and worldwide. Currently, members include State DOTS, local units of government, various consulting, tolling, and telematics firms, and research-based organizations.
In addition to her work with the MBUF Alliance, she holds joint appointments as a Research Fellow /Washington in transportation policy at the Humphrey School and the Center for Transportation Studies at the University of Minnesota. She also serves as a consultant on transportation issues for the firm Faegre Baker Daniels in their Washington, D.C. office Her previous work includes serving on the staff of Minnesota Governor Rudy Perpich in St. Paul where she led the statewide Governor’s Aesthetic Environment Program and later as the Director of Washington, D.C. Office for the State of Minnesota. She also served six years as Chief of Staff to Cong. Byron Dorgan in his Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Rohde has represented the United States on delegations to Australia, the former Soviet Union, and Japan. She serves on several Boards in the Washington, D.C. area and currently is the five-state Mid Atlantic Scholarship Chair for the Organization of Licensed Women Pilots.
