Andrew Sperling
Andrew Sperling has been director of federal legislative advocacy for National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) since September 1996. NAMI is the largest national consumer and family organization representing people with serious brain disorders, such as schizophrenia, major depression and bipolar disorder. Since 1994, he has also served as a co-chair of the Consortium for Citizens With Disabilities (CCD) Housing Task Force – a coalition of national disability advocacy and provider organizations dedicated to promoting policies and funding to increase access to affordable housing opportunities for non-elderly adults with severe disabilities.
