Akira Igata
Akira Igata is a Project Lecturer at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo. He is also an Adjunct Senior Fellow at Pacific Forum, a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), Director of the Japan Association for Cellular Agriculture (JACA), and a Non-Executive Director at the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC). He advises the Japanese government, bureaucracy, and the private sector in various capacities. His research interests include: Economic security; Human rights diplomacy; Cellular agriculture; and International Politics in the Indo-Pacific.
