Autonomous modes of delivery have begun to show their potential during the pandemic, helping transport items ranging from COVID-19 test kits to bed linens to groceries. In the future, autonomous transportation, whether across the nation or down the street, through delivery robots, drones, and autonomous trucks and trains will reduce costs and congestion while increasing convenience and safety.
