Whether it is renting a car for an afternoon, using energy efficiently in your home, or providing your doctor with timely information on your health, mobile broadband is empowering consumers with exciting new options. Just as importantly, mobile broadband is spurring the development of new applications and devices and creating new jobs in engineering and design. Around the world, the race is for new business opportunities. For U.S. firms and workers to benefit from these new opportunities, we need smart, state-of-the-art technology policies.
