# SAT Streamlining Act Will Boost US Space Economy, Says ITIF

WASHINGTON—Following the approval of the SAT Streamlining Act by the House Communications and Technology Subcommittee, the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) released the following statement from Policy Analyst Ellis Scherer:

> “This bill would enable rapid expansion of the U.S. orbital ecosystem. The SAT Streamlining Act will ensure that satellite license applications are not left in regulatory limbo; empowering companies to push the pace of innovation and grow the space economy to the benefit of American consumers.”
