Can the Left Overcome Its Technopessimism?

Political scientist and commentator Ruy Teixeira identified growthphobia and the revival of the "Luddite" idea that technology is destructive as the two causes fueling techno-pessimism on the left. Writing in American Compass, Rob D. Atkinsons argues that the left will need to get over its technopessimism if it wants to obtain and retain power and advance the lives of average Americans.
