ITIF supports the “market-based” approach to quickly transition 3.7 to 4.2 GHz band. Allowing the parties to negotiate a transfer is best suited to quickly bring this spectrum to market, transitioning it to more a valuable use, and accelerate U.S. leadership in 5G services, all while preserving the important existing uses of the band.
