Small Business Voucher Program Helps Accelerate Energy Innovation

A small company called Skysun in Bay Village, Ohio, uses an innovative small business voucher pilot program to access to the vast expertise and facilities of the Energy Department’s Sandia National Laboratories. Working with Sandia, Skysun has developed technology that cuts the cost of solar power, making the technology more accessible. Bipartisan legislation under consideration in Congress would expand the program to all 17 national labs and make it permanent. This legislation deserves support.
