Progressives Should Think Twice Before Demonizing Big Business

Democrats have made “cracking down on corporate monopolies” a key part of their plan for shared prosperity. But much of the case for more vigorous antitrust enforcement falls apart on close inspection, Rob Atkinson writes in The Hill. In fact, as the Senate Antitrust Subcommittee prepares for a Nov. 15 hearing on competition and consumer welfare, Democrats should consider that when it comes to advancing progressive economic and social values, it is large corporations that do the most good.
