ITIF's Center for Data Innovation filed comments with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy outlining some of the most significant benefits and challenges of artificial intelligence so that policymakers can take an active role in supporting the development of AI, as well as avoid succumbing to widespread yet unfounded alarmist narratives about how AI is a threat to economic and social well-being or even an existential threat to humanity.
