The U.S. economy could boost GDP anywhere between $1.6 to $2.2 trillion by 2025 through maximizing the use of information and communications technology across all sectors, according to the McKinsey Global Institute. This amounts to an increase of between 6 to 8 percent of the White House’s projected U.S. GDP of $28 trillion in 2025, writes John Wu in Innovation Files.
