# Vivian Ranson
**Senior Program Manager of the Development Informatics Team, U.S. Global Development Lab**

Vivian Ranson is Senior Program Manager of the Development Informatics Team at USAID's innovation lab, the U.S. Global Development Lab, where she manages the Lab's efforts to use digital data and mobile technology to improve Ebola recovery investments in West Africa.

Before joining USAID, Vivian spent 10 years working in cross-sector strategy and program management, with a focus in data-driven performance and organizational change management. Her field work includes development of agricultural microfinance programs and mobile banking services in Kenya for Nuru International and scaling rural microfinance programs for Pro Mujer in Bolivia through the Peace Corps. As a federal consultant, she worked on operations strategy and enterprise IT solutions for the EPA, Department of Navy, and GSA.

Vivian holds a MPP from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a BS in Business Administration and BA in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley.
