Victor Cramer
Victor Cramer has been appointed as Financial Counselor and Head of the Financial Department at the Royal Netherlands Embassy starting in July 2008. In his position, he covers a wide range of financial affairs, such as financial market regulation, budget taxation and customs, and the fight against terrorist financing. He is the primary liaison to the Netherlands Ministry of Finance.
Between 2001 and 2008, Mr. Cramer worked at the Ministry of Finance in The Hague, where his last position was head of unit customs legislation. Before that his work focused on (European) corporate taxation and international taxation.
Mr. Cramer has also worked at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and worked as private consultant on European Technology Funding Programs. He has a masters degree in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam.
Mr. Cramer lives with his wife and three children in Bethesda, MD.
