Suk Joon Kim

Dr. Suk Joon Kim has been appointed the President of Science & Technology Policy Institute(STEPI) since August 2008. He has been a member of National Assembly of the Republic of Korea from 2004 to 2008 contributing to the development of policies through working in the Science, Technology, Information and Telecommunications Committee. In 2004, he served as President of Korean Association for Public Administration, and until March 2002 he was the executive member of the Citizen’s Coalition for Economic Justice. He was a professor of Public Administration at Ewha Womans University from 1989 to 2004. During 1993-1998, he was the Dean of Graduate School of Information Science, Ewha Womans University.
He holds a B.E. in Engineering and M.A. in Public Administration from Seoul National University and Ph.D. in Political Science from UCLA.
