Pooja Anand
Pooja Anand is the Head of Strategic Projects in the Talent Acquisition organization at Siemens. Based in Iselin NJ, Pooja is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategies, project plans and tactical actions required to drive the ongoing transformation of the talent acquisition function at Siemens across a diverse set of business units spanning North, Central and South America. Additionally, she is the Siemens US subject matter expert on the topics of comprehensive workforce development, apprentices, and vocational training.
In 2014, Pooja served on President Obama’s Advanced Manufacturing Partnership 2.0 (AMP 2.0) and led the Work Team that developed the “Employer Playbook for Building an Apprenticeship Program.” The playbook - based on best practice regional apprenticeship models gathered from a consortium of both private sector employers and public workforce intermediaries- is designed for ease of comprehension and execution.
Prior to her current role, Pooja was responsible for the design and implementation of an integrated talent and leadership development agenda to drive employee engagement and build talent across the various business divisions at Siemens U.S.
Previously Pooja worked in India at the World Bank and Bank of America in sales and operations roles. She has a Bachelors in Psychology from Delhi University and a Masters in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University.
