Paul Innella, TDI's President and CEO, is a noted expert in Information Assurance. With nearly two decades of experience in computer science and information security, he built TDI into a world class consulting firm offering information security services to US Government agencies and commercial clients around the world.

Paul is a recognized information security expert who has published articles (SecurityFocus, Secure Computing Magazine, etc.) and delivered seminars and lectures (ISACA, ISSA, CPM West Conference, GE, NetScout, NACACS, ISACA International Conference, Network Security Conference, Information Security Management Conference, InternetWorld UK, ACSAC, George Mason University, etc.) to a worldwide audience. He has consulted as a subject matter expert and technical advisor to commercial companies and projects at global universities and US government agencies.

Paul founded The Information Security Lifecycle Working Group, The International Network of Information Security Professionals (INISP), and served as the Vice President of Education for the National Chapter of the Information System Security Association (ISSA). He is a Certified NSA IAM professional, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with specialization of Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP), a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and member of the Gerson Lehrman Group Council of Advisors and the CISSP Speakers/SME Bureau. Paul's client list includes British Telecom, The USMC, US Army, NASA, DISA, DoED, NIH, HUD, DEA, DOE, The Smithsonian Institution, USGS, DeutscheBank, Credit Suisse First Boston, Daimler Chrysler, Monster.com, and GE.

He graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Computer Science, took Masters Computer Science courses at Johns Hopkins, and is an IMD trained executive, having graduated IMD's Executive Leadership program.
